I just moved into campus as a first year and I'm very nervous of course, lot's of stuff going on and stress on how things are gonna shake up. I am a big Warhammer nerd and thought it'd be good to make some other Warhammer friends here, we could host some fun game nights at the library and form a study group to help eachother out! I haven't made any friends yet besides meeting my roomates and it'd help me and a lot of other people I hope.

If enough people reply we can find a way to organize! I play Ogors in AoS and Orks in 40k.

I'm thinking of starting my first AoS army with Ogors, Slaves to Darkness or Flesh-eaters currently. I don't like using older sculpts just out of preference until new refreshes come out.

So if I were to get into FEC, I'd avoid Crypt Horrors/Flayers, Crypt Ghouls, and Zombie Dragons.

Is a FEC list still powerful and effective without those units? Or would a list excluding those units likely fail.

(Note: I haven't read up on the Army Rule yet for Flesh-Eater Courts so I don't know how the army works particularly yet. If someone would explain it in comments that'd be lovely.)
