quite happy with the result (looks better in person). was not sure if i wanted to power through the morgaunt scheme, since i followed Warhipsters tutorial (which is great)...but pallid wych flesh...god awful to layer with it. love the model, still need to do the base (skulls, bloooood,...). if anyone has suggestions for the base, happy to hear it.
skavens won't be happy with the collateral damage though ;)
He is not 100% Ready yet, but still atleast in my top 3 minis i am proud of.

But since I'm babysitting my dog through her personal Vietnam flashback I decided to put some work into painting up my spearhead box. Not entirely happy with the results and my photography skills aren't doing me any favors. Figure posting the progress might at least convince me to keep plugging away instead of scrubbing these back to plastic when I get back to finishing them.

Are Ghoul Lists a thing any more?

It's been 6 months since I first posted about this conversion project, finally got around to painting these guys. Lots of people have done this conversion before for Horrors, but I felt the core Ogor kit didn't quite fit, so made a few changes...
The added chains and shields turned out really well I think, a bit more "knightly", and I'm happy with the anti-cav bill hooks in the end too (some old curved Ogor weapon bits I stuck onto the gorger kit which I felt looked a lot better than the hammers/blunt weapons the base models came with). I think carving down the thick wood weapon shafts and painting them up as bone turned out okay too, in the end. The cape guy is the courtier, of course. ;)
Overall a fun project!
I love the entire theme and idea of them and got their big “release” box along with Ushoran awhile back but id rather have new sculpts of the old lords and arch regents sculpts before I get more.
I collect and paint more than I play atm and have nearly the entire kruleboyz army, started making a Dok army based on and around krethusa(oldish sculpts for them ik but I like the ones im using to convert).
Just wanting to know if theres a chance anytime soon they’ll have another sculpt update since they already had one?
I started with the Death faction back in 1.0 then Soulblight as everyhting begab to split off but I slowly worked away on ghouls and horrors as side projects. FEC were that fun experimental part of AoS when maybe budgets were lower and the team got three kits and told thats your lot make it work and came with a really inventive fun spin on the faction which has been "fleshed" out since.
All this as background that having played Old World last year I got the AoS itch again and played a game and it was fun, really enjoyed the delusions and adding a Regiment of Renown how are people looking to take advantage of Fury dice this season add more terrorgheists?

Something similar to the zombies from last of us with mushrooms instead of heads or partially or mushrooms coming out of their backs etc. maybe tendrils on their body. If yes, did you use greenstuff? Any guides you can share?

Tldr: I'm gonna start a Flesh-eater courts army. This is gonne be my first AOS army. But I have a 40k one already.
I found the Flesh-eater courts Factionpack online and I was wondering if I should get the Battletome as well. Is there any information that can be found in the Battletome that is no in the Factionpack or is it all the same?
And is the Battletome worth it?
I 40k i always shied away from buying codexes because the cor rules ar fairly simple and you can easily all the relevant information online. But Aos seems to be a bit more complex there for I'm thonking about buying the Battletome. What are you'r opinions on the BT, worth it or not?
We just got points updates and it's more hits to the dragons/terrorgheists. Interested if anyone is looking at Nagash after an 80 point drop
I picked up this lot for $100 and I think it is roughly 2600 points(don’t know what it is with a new point changes today) but looking at help building a list as I am new to AoS but do play 40k

I think the basic cryptguard and ghouls from Gw look a little boring. I have Ushoran who will soon be painted. (Lil cryptguard guy was the mini of the month at one point).
