What are you hoping for in 11th

I'm hoping we get jump pack infantry, a bike character, a walker, heavy infantry, and a train / but tank. I feel like this is what the gaps in Votann are right now. I hope we don't just get one thing, but I would love to hear what you people would like aswell.

What do these Detachments do best/worst? Day:2 Armoured Trailblazers

Detatchmentrule: Its really nice and helps infantry get in the middle board
Enhancements: The mobile one is really nice
Disposition: i haven‘t played or seen Disruptiom yet so i can‘t really say anything
Stratagems: They are fine in my opinion

So i would give this Detachment 3/5 and by no means im no Expert so take this opinion lightly:)

Some kin I’ve painted recently

With a few more boxes done, my summer painting goals have been obliterated

New 40k book "Helbrecht Sin of Hope" will have Kin in it.

So the book is apparently going to talk about the 'Grey Area' that exists between the Leagues and Imperium.

Don't worry the Night Lords are the big bads of the book, though given it is Black Templars wouldn't be surprised if they pull some nonsense on our beloved Kin

Correction: Night Lords are not the main bads, we only know it's Chaos.

Im working on some new terrain for the games at my house and using this set of models, I want to make it more trans hyperion, can anyone help me come up with a good color scheme?

I thought about replacing the green with orange(simple) but im afraid it may end up looking too comic booky

Votaan vs Ravenwing

My Kin fight the dark angels over a city with valuable resources. The Kin are victorious. This was a super fun and close match. The berserkers were unstoppable .

What do These Detachments do best/worst? Day:1 Farseekers

Hey we are back with another Series of what do these do best/worst this time Detatchments:)
Thanks to u/Evening-Toe9067 for commenting this Idea under the Land Fort post.
I would like to hear you opinions about everything these detatchments have to offer, so Disposition, Stratagems, Enhancements and ofc Detachmentrule.
I will start. ;)
Detachmentrule: I quite like it but i do think it can be sometimes useless because we already get +1 to hit through our Army Rule
Enhancements: They are ok i like the Yaegers one with the minus 3 detection range but it is pricy
Stratagems: I think these are the best Things in this Detachment. All three are great to have
Disposition: I dont like Reconnaissance i think its just so much weaker then the Rest of them

So after all is said and done i would give this Detachment a 2/5 it only cost 1DP which is nice and the Stratagems are really good but everything else is just meh in my opinion and its the least likely i would pick from our 1DP Detachments

Best way to fill the gaps in the helmet?

I want to make the visor one big space helmet. What’s the best way to go about this and has anyone done this before?

Started a Votann army (feat. some nids)

Started making a Votann army over this summer after I starting nailing my friend with some votann lists on tts lol. Tried going for a tundra explorer type color scheme with a Deuguar skintone to contrast with my mud/grassland nids. Beserks and some Einhyr next after I force myself to finish that remaining pioneer and the earthshakers

Does the Brokhyr Iron Master make a good warlord option ?

I would like to build a casual Votann Army centered around vehicles, few infantery from the Combat Patrol and Hernkog kill team. I would like to know if the Brokhyr as a Warlord is viable or is this a not so great option and should pick a Kahl or a Einhyr champion?

Is our best disposition really PA?(Table from tabletop tactics’ new video)

I mean… I can see that, we have quite a bit of good action units(Yegirs in 5s especially), but I can’t imagine it being better than take n’ hold for us. And my personal experience is also more on the side of TAH

I mean, our army rule literally gives us: a better way to clean up enemies from objectives, a resource to spend, that we get mostly through being on objectives and then a better way to sit on an objective and better defend it.

If anyone is, we are supposed to be THE take and hold of 40K. Every facet of our army rule is about holding objectives, so I guess we should be good at it.

I played a lot of brandfast oathband+armored trailblazers and had quite a bit of success. Maybe not hyper competitively, but still.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

One-eyed, gap-toothed, biker dwarf space wizard complete.

My Crucible character for the next Crusade. It was a nice excuse to paint up a completely different colour scheme.
