For this unit of hearthguard I wanted to do something a little different than the normal monopose build. So I kitbashed them into “veterans”. In my head cannon they are experienced specialists. There’s a dual grav-fist line breaker, a dual plasma assault, a heavy plasma gunner, a signalkyn, and a hesyr lancer. I think they turned out pretty well, and it’s nice to have a slightly distinct squad from the normal unit profile. Recipes I used are posted here, and they are all pretty straight forward.

If so, what is your plan? I particularly like Hjulda Drakkblud and the Valayan Guardians but was wondering what they might be good proxies for and how much kitbashing would be needed

Picked up the hobby with my brother this last month
Any thoughts on what I can do better? Was very fun painting!
My primer clumped a bit I think it was too hot outside.
Definitely learned a lot on this first set of warriors.
Now I have another to start!

Heya kyn! Im wondering what would be the best primer for this color scheme? Im thinking chaos blacl or maybe a grey seer?

My vehicles use a John Deere theme. The sagitaurs in particular are themed off the gator side by sides. Prepping for my first tournament so I had to get it painted and ready!

I like my -1CP cost. But not enough to spend 100 points.

Painted using speedpaint/contrast paints with some highlights

It's a nice change to paint some artillery, especially since I really like the mini diorama aspect of this mini

This specific model has been painted, stripped, and painted again. It lost a lot of fidelity but I am still pretty happy with how it turned out.
