Einhyr Hearthguard Veterans

For this unit of hearthguard I wanted to do something a little different than the normal monopose build. So I kitbashed them into “veterans”. In my head cannon they are experienced specialists. There’s a dual grav-fist line breaker, a dual plasma assault, a heavy plasma gunner, a signalkyn, and a hesyr lancer. I think they turned out pretty well, and it’s nice to have a slightly distinct squad from the normal unit profile. Recipes I used are posted here, and they are all pretty straight forward.

Hernkyn Pioneers in my colors

Really happy with these. I understand why folks dread these guys, though. They are very complicated and you have to subassemble (or atleast I did). I think you have to just settle in and mentally prepare for the marathon to finish pioneers. All the recipes I used can be found here, they’re all pretty straightforward.

Memnyr and the boys

You ever put off painting your least favorite unit for your army only to finally suck it up and have it turn out so well they become your favorite?… anyway, here’s my full squad of steeljacks finished up with their Memnyr

First unit of gunjacks

Not originally my favorite in our range, but after building and painting them I’ve developed an appreciation. They are much cooler than I originally thought.

Finished my Deathskulls Wrecka Krew

You all liked my boss nob a while back, so I thought I’d share the whole team now that they are done. Took a month and a half, but I think they turned out great. Orks are so fun to paint.

Painted my first ork for a wrecka krew kill team

Was a lot of fun. Picked Deathskulls to roll more 6s. I get it now, so much character in every model, and so freeing not worrying about painting all the edges just right.

Yaegir Team Zero family photo

Whole squad together at last. What a joy to paint these guys. So much character in this kit!
