Visiting NYC for the Finals - your thoughts and advice wanted
Knicks fam, I've been supporting the Knicks all the way from New Zealand for a while (must be close to 35 years now). I've been lucky enough to visit NYC about 10 years ago and caught a couple of games at MSG and had an amazing time.
Now it's finally looking like our time to make the Finals again (after so many years of waiting) and I'm wanting to be in on the action and experience the buzz. My partner and I can take a week off work to be in NY, but we're not sure whether it's going to be a better experience being there for games 1-3, or games 3 and 4 (and possibly 5 or 6 if it goes to that).
We'll be looking to hang out in the fan zones to catch the games - it's going to be pricey enough getting to NY and staying there for a week on the New Zealand peso without having to re-mortgage the house for a couple of crappy seats in the 400s.
