Brunson vs Haliburton in victory

I'm still in awe of the comeback against the cavs, but at the same time I cannot help thinking about how devastating that loss must feel for their fans because I know exactly how does feel like after what the Pacers did to us last year.

Up until the choke gesture I had Haliburton as a very talented player but with a tendency to either disappear when things don't go his way or to be a show-off in the games he plays well. The gesture revealed something darker about his character that I deeply dislike. It felt the same as a bully kicking his adversary when they were already down. There's a real difference between saying "I played great" and "you're a loser", and Haliburton chose the second one.

The main reason I became a Knicks fan is Jalen Brunson, and one of the aspects I admire most about him is his attitude win or lose. When Trae Young did his dice celebration against us, Brunson's response was not aggressive or immature. He simply said that if you don't want him doing that, you should have won the game. In his best moments and his worst, he would never humiliate an opponent like that.

We got the right guy.

MSG Skycam: The Comeback x Starks LJ Marbury

Since it literally includes legends from the franchise history trying to participate in the game 30 years later, I think this is my favorite version of the game one story.

It's funny seeing the outrage against iHart grabbing Wemby, while OG and Brunson were litterally hugged by Cavs players to not allow them to move when we ran pinch post/flex action through KAT

iHart did grab and hold Wemby, he should've been called for a foul every time he did. Not even debating that.

Now go watch the first QT of Game 1 against the Cavs. See every KAT pinch post play, look at Brunson and OG litterally forbidden to move by Cavs defenders. We abandonned that shit cause whenever JB set the backscreen, both player would get hold and couldn't cut. It took KAT out of the game, wasted precious possessions.

All I'm saying is people will notice stuff when they want to notice them. Nothing against Wemby, may the best team win.

Isaiah Hartenstein grabs Stephon Castle's hair on a rebound resulting in a McCain 3 pointer. These REFS are ridiculous.

Kat needs to stop falling down

He continually will fall into the camera row after a driving layup. Even when he makes it, the other team quickly inbounds and gets a wide open shot 5 on 4. How have the coaches not taken this out of his game!?

You can’t tell me this man isn’t the greatest Knick of all time if he wins it all for us

Jalen Brunson

I think people forget about our comebacks last year

Even I did, as a diehard. But we had two incredible comebacks vs the Celtics last year. I haven’t heard any analysts bring it up in context of this one.

My favorite day in a long time

Been going thru some tough stuff lately and this team just really has been carrying me thru. I smiled/waved/cheered at Every single person I passed in the city today wearing any sort of Knicks merch- kept wondering how many of them were some of u on here!!!!! Felt like we were all in something together- Our hearts all beat for the Knicks and it’s hard to describe that to anyone else.

Sorry to get so mushy but I have nowhere else to describe what this team means to me lol.

The Knicks have revived their culture

Old man here - the Knicks have completely revived their culture since the Pat Riley, JVG eras in a way Knicks fans should appreciate. Leon Rose and Co. have, for years, focused on team-building and culture, with Dolan's blessing, in a way that most NBA fans thought was gone. I'm not one to glaze ownership, but it is clear the roster is maintained with purpose, and that purpose reflects NY, past and present. No matter what happens down the road, every single Knick, down to Jordan fucking Clarkson, is locked in, in the Ewing spirit that does NY proud and makes it the Mecca. May win, may not, but this group [and even Mike Brown!] Deserves immense credit for being a top 4 team [minimum] in the league.....it's not a given, and we are incredibly lucky. Everyone keep sending positive energy, regardless, we/they deserve it!

All the pieces matter.

Twenty-five hours after this October 14 speculation piece by SNY, the Knicks tweeted Malcolm Brogdon's retirement.

Garrison Mathews played 15 games for the Pacers this season. (5.2 PPG)

Landry Shamet ignited a historic comeback on Tuesday.

Sidetalk has done irreparable damage to SOME Knicks fans

Idk man it just feels like half of the people that are outside msg are just there to clipfarm once someone has their camera out. Specially sidetalk, I’m not saying Knicks fans are bad. I’m one of them, but bro it feels forced knowing that once someone sees a camera they just say the same shit they’ve been saying for the past 3 years. Like bro everybody just wants to get a viral clip out instead of actually celebrating the win. Idk man it just feels fake it might just be me.
