If LeBron James steps onto the NBA court on December 29, 2030 or anytime after, he will break be the oldest player in NBA history.

The oldest player in NBA player history is Nat Hickey, he stepped onto the court at 45 years and 363 days old on January 28, 1948.

Hickey was serving as the head coach of the Providence Steamrollers during the 1947–48 Basketball Association of America (BAA) season.

He got the record by activating himself as a player two days before his 46th birthday.

Hickey only played in two total games for the Steamrollers, recording one total point.

LeBron’s 46th birthday will be on December 30, 2030.

If anybody can break this record, it’s him…

Which 2nd Round matchup is better for the NY Liberty?

The Liberty were 2-1 in the regular season against the Mystics; 1-2 against the Dream.

Both the Dream and Mystics have 2 World Cup champion teammates of Stewie on their respective teams (Reese-Howard, Citron-Iriafen).

The Liberty have a lot of size on their frontline, so the Mystics maybe able to matchup with them via Austin & Iriafen.

But the Dream have a stingy defense that features the reigning DPOY and the #1, 2 and 3 steals leaders in the league (Howard, Canada, Reese).

Liberty will start on the road next round in DC or ATL.

Nolan made sure to be very intentional on not having too many similarities with his Odyssey film and Troy (2004)

Felt like Nolan, who has vocally mentioned how disappointed he was in not doing the Troy film in 2004, was beyond intentional with certain characters and scenes in The Odyssey.

For example, King Agamemnon (played by Brian Cox in Troy), was a huge part of the 2004 film. Nolan’s Agamemnon, played by Benny Safdie, was essentially the antithesis of Troy. Faced never shown and a large imposing figure.

Even in the suspense on how the gate was opened after Greeks got out of the Trojan horse was perfectly opposite of the plot in Troy.

No real mention of Achilles, who was played very well by Brad Pitt in 2004. Again, very intentional.

Although the plots have many of the same characters and similar tales, Nolan made sure he was letting the audience know that this ain’t that.

The Clippers are so corny 🫩

CP3 reportedly said the franchise told him they would retire his number when he was sent home last season… But even if they didn’t, he’s the best player in franchise history (or arguably if you want to be technical). No one on the team should wear his jersey number, especially right after he retired.

Team France is loaded with WNBA players!

The set a FIBA World Cup record with 21 three-pointers against Nigeria earlier today.

They are loaded with W players (Williams, Salaun, Malonga, Johannès, Lacan, and more).

Team USA has a lot of talent as always, but I don't know... That was a lucky break they caught against Italy in group play.

France can defend and shoot at a high level. If these two teams matchup (with Team USA featuring popular players like Clark and Reese), it would be one of the most viewed games in Women’s FIBA/Olympic history.
