This was the sponsor of the last few days' episodes. Got home and downloaded it on gamepass.

Admittedly; I am a bit of a GregCore guy. I like emotional manipulation in games, I like to feel something. Well.. I'm feeling something.

It was a really beautiful story. Character development that actually felt worthwhile. The visuals in the moment to moment were fine, but then would crescendo in the scenes moving between time/acts. I can't downplay how good these scenes were, though, I wish they were more frequent.

It is light on mechanics, and had one bug that was an issue.

8/10 would recommend if you are into the emotional gamespace.

I really hope people give this one a shot.

Want to preface this by saying how much I enjoy KF and their content, and supporting them on Patreon is a no brainer to me. I also totally understand that having people in-studio allows them to help fund this project and go all out on it. I love that for the guys and hope they crush it.

With that said, as someone who watches all the content on YouTube, I’m a little bummed this project will have an in-person audience. Every podcast I’ve ever listened to or watched that does a live show is different from their normal flow in a slightly negative way. Having an audience inherently changes how the hosts talk and interact, and selfishly I wish this project didn’t have that. Again, I’m pumped for anybody who can go and that the boys can hopefully be rewarded for their hard work, but the selfish part of me is still a little bummed. I understand complaining about free content is insane behavior, so please forgive me for that. I’m really excited for Top 100 and hope the crew absolutely crushes it!

Edit: I appreciate everyone commenting! I hope this didn't come off as complaining for the sake of complaining - if it did, I apologize. I love KF's content and have total faith in their ability to produce it, and hope this show leads to new fans coming into the fold. Cheers everyone!

I was able to keep up with all the new releases I cared about in September until Fire Emblem hit. The game is very long, and because of that I all of a sudden have several games piling up on me that I really want to play: Control, Witcher 3, and Gears EDay.

I'm prioritizing Control, EDay, and hoping I can get a good way into Witcher 3 before OoT Remake comes out.

What September games are you prioritizing to catch up with during the calm before the storm?

Edit: Currently investigating error users are seeing: "Failed to send a request to the Edge Function".
Please continue adding other games, trying to fix this asap!
Thanks for all the sign ups!

Hey KFBF's

I built an app where we, the KFBFs, can create our own individual Top 100 Games List. Everyone can then see the tallied results on the leaderboard.
Will be interesting to compare the KFBF Top 100 with the Kinda Funny Top 100 💯 ❤

Would love for everyone to try it out and let me know what you think 😊
If you have any issues, find a bug, have feedback etc, feel free to message me here or on BS (that's BlueSky for Tim 😉) Bluesky - Dimii96

Admins: please let me know if this counts as self-promo, not trying to sell anything, just trying to get this out there for people to start creating their list before the KF Top 100 event :P

Hey KFBFs! To me, this means that this generation will last much longer, almost 2030. Seems like Sony is trying to improve the PS5 so that games will continue to look and run better over the next few years. This could really extend the lifecycle for the console. What do you think?

Edit: removed “nail in the coffin”, didn’t mean for it to be negative, sorry!

In twitch chat people keep saying to talk to some people named Olive Party and Anzole but I have no idea who they are or how to contact them to get the info about the meetups happening around Top 100.

Does anyone know if they’re on a specific discord or something?
