I know it’s not the most intellectually stimulating or critical or important thing that KF will discuss in depth all year, but it’s probably the most fun I’ll have all year listening to their content. Sometimes it’s just fun to sit around and do the old Chris Farley SNL character of “remember this? Yeah, that was cool”
This format would be particularly good for getting guests from outside of KF on too. Have one of the Giant Bomb guys or Lucy James on. How cool would it be if Jack Quaid agreed to film one of these with Blessing?! Or have one of the Dropout people on now that Blessing has that connection.
An obvious potential flaw to the idea is “what are they playing for? KF can’t afford to be giving monetary prizes out weekly” but I think if you explain it’s simply meant to be competitive - there will be a leaderboard of how far every contestant managed to get, who can get the highest? - I think that’s more than enough to get people playing and trying to win.
