yoga after knee injury 🤸🏻♀️
Hi everyone! ✨
Recently I've injured my left knee and I'm currently undergoing physiotherapies to get back to walking stage. It was a horizontal medial meniscus rupture and tibial plateau cartilage (micro)fracture. I also have runners knee on both knees 🥲
I really love yoga so much and it's a huge part of my life, I've been missing it immensely during the last month and a half of having to be on cruthes. I wont be doing my regular vinyasa yoga for 2 more months, but I'm curious about other asanas that would be beneficial for my upper body and also my legs without burdening the knee?
Also when I get back to regular vinyasa practice, which yoga positions to avoid in the future with this kind of injury?
I'm going to implement my physio exercises in my daily rutine to prevent from further demage but also if anyone has any kind of advice, feel welcome!
Thanks everyone, namaste 🙏🏼
