Has Samsung secretly killed off Fold 5 battery replacements? 3 uBreakiFix stores have completely shut me down.
My Z Fold 5 battery life has been tanking, so I decided it was time for a fresh replacement. Simple enough, right?
Wrong. I’ve literally been to three different uBreakiFix locations this week, and every single one gave me the runaround. One told me they can't order the parts, one said they're backordered indefinitely, and the last one flat-out told me they don't service the Fold 5 batteries anymore.
Is anyone else running into a massive parts shortage right now, or is Samsung actively trying to force us to upgrade?
