27M Malaysian, Engineer working in Singapore on an Employment Pass. I’ve been continuously employed for 3y10m and recently resigned after accepting an offer from a large US tech company in Singapore, starting in September.

Planning to visit the US around Christmas to visit my girlfriend, who may be there on an L1 assignment. I’m considering applying for B1/B2 in October, about 1 month after starting my new job.
Would the recent job change / short tenure be a concern? Or would my continuous employment history + new job be viewed positively?

- held a J1 visa 9 years ago
