Empire was the greatest tv show about music and the game of life ever - discussion

I just finished this show last night after a 2 month binge. All I can say is I’ve never felt more spoken too about how music and its life force can be so powerful. I’ve never seen a show display the struggles and overcoming a of love and family that the Cookie and Luscious faced. I’ve never been so moved by characters in a show and I literally cried probably at least once every season. This show was amazing. What a bittersweet end. The Empire lives but we just never know what will happen. *insert meme fawk sound*

*it was amazing what they did with the ending, finding out on filming of episode 19 that they were canceled and ending it how they did with the editing. Not an easy feat considering the opening of season 6😭😭😭😭*

God dayum I’m already getting emotional realizing it’s over.

Luscious and Cookie are real Gs.

What are your thoughts on the show? What did you like? Not like? Favorite story arc?

I honestly didn’t have anything bad to say, other than it’s over 😭😭😭 (fuck Covid) and hmmmm….my favorite story arc was Andre loosing his shit mentally, great acting, and great progression. And then honestly Luscious in season 4 with the long dreads and sunglasses, I vibed with it 🤣🤣🤣 I wish we could’ve seen the Dubois regret coming back for the Lyons and the battle that would’ve been.

What should I watch next?!
