I have a few and love them, but (being glass) the neck and head are so slippery that the thread just unwraps and slides right off. Or it comes off the head despite me using a double hitch.

Does anyone have ideas on how to add some friction without damaging the glass? I’ve considered using some etching compound just on the neck and head.
