What to do about the grout difference and wood paneling
We are buying this house and while I was present during the inspection I noticed the mortar on the fireplace is two different colors. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about that? And also the amount of wood paneling. I heard it's coming back but this is a den/family room and it makes it SO dark. The home was built in 1964 so I don't want to ruin character, but I do still plan on living here!
