Ok Whatevers Comfortable for you buddy.
Weirdest position i found Mathis "Rocco" Dactylus in. I thought it was merely transitional but he chilled here grumbling for 3 hrs. Shortly after the picture he darted for his hide.

Im in a situation where i essentially provide all the electrical engineering knowledge for a company of 80 employees. Over the last 5 years i have brought in new capability, like test automation, pcb design, electrical modeling, and the fixturing and test methodologies for new product lines as we transition away from engineering support to npd, and i pretty much have to be contact person for all these points. I was training another electrical engineer at one point but he was promoted to manager and now has shown and expressed hes forgotten much of the training. (Worth noting at our small size he still functions 50% as engineer). I documented trainings but people do not refer to them instead coming to me. Im not trying to be childish but i fear that they will never want me to leave or be promoted. I have expressed to my manager that i want a promotion roadmap, i had one but it is never mentioned unless i repeatedly bring it up. I feel my worth to the company is greater than sr. engineer and their promotions of other people from engineering has only further concentrated their needs on me. Is it even worth explaining this at this point or should i just leave?
