Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into the evening, with the greatest coverage generally along and north of I-70. Storms may produce damaging winds and will likely contain heavy rainfall, leading to reduced visibility and localized flooding.

Clusters of thunderstorms will develop across the area this afternoon. The main threat will be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, though all hazards, including damaging hail and a tornado or two, are possible. Storms should begin between 2-4PM and be out of the area by 7PM.
