Dual GPU Setups for 4K 240hz worth it?
So I have a 5080 in a x870 board that has 5x16 and 4x4 pcie slots, I play on a 4K 240hz hdr monitor.
Would it be worth it to get something like a 5060ti 16gb if I wanted to stay in the nvidia family for using RTX HDR? Would a 3060-5050 8gb be enough vram do they “share?”
Games that don’t have borderless windowed, am I going to be purely using the secondary gpu, or does setting the rendering gpu in windows still give you a higher fps than just using a 5080 on its own?
I play a mix of indie steam and AAA games not a lot of emulators would setting this up be a noticeable increase in frames, a drop in latency and help give “longevity” by being a 5080++?
My system is a custom loop and I enjoy tinkering, overclocking, etc is this a “headache” to get working properly and adjusted on a game to game basis?
