Scallywags, our indie roguelite demo launched today, unique crew mechanics & looking for feedback

We just launched the Scallywags demo today, a fast, tactical roguelite where your pirate crew is the heart of every run. Each Scallywag has a role, and some abilities require coordinated actions, like singing a Sea Chantey to empower a Siren Song while another crew member defend them on the cannons.

Enemy factions behave differently, hazards escalate, and every run pushes you into new synergies and improvisation.

Hi r/pcgaming! We are a small team working on Scallywags, a crew management game that leans into untraditional pirate fantasy. We’ve been heavily inspired by Windwaker and One Piece, but we wanted to create our own take.

We’re finally releasing a demo on May 18th during Steam Ocean Fest! We've poured a lot of heart into the crew management systems, and we are genuinely excited (and a little nervous) to get your honest feedback.
