My mom died of a pulmonary embolism in January, 41 days after a knee replacement surgery. It’s been very traumatic for me for many reasons, mostly because she died in front of me. I had been taking care of her and I feel like I failed her. I feel so much guilt. I am only 34 and I’ve already lost both my parents. My dad died of COVID in April of 2020. When he passed, I felt like his spirit came to comfort me and let me know he was okay. I haven’t felt anything from my mom. If anyone has a message to pass along, I’d be so grateful.
