I have a flight to GDL next month and just caught up on this whole debacle between these two airlines. I bought the ticket from frontier with the first leg being through Volaris. The issue being Frontier won’t give me a Volaris confirmation code and my only option is to checkin at the Volaris gate before my flight.

I read up on past threads and it seemed like two things happened:

1. People were never on the Volaris manifest

2. People were on the manifest but paid extra for a seat or an entirely new flight

My question, does anyone actually have a success story of simply going to the gate and receiving a boarding pass with no issues?
