Is this eating or just trying to clear their hide? I’m trying to figure out what food will make them come out more during the day for feeding. Right now I’m feeding carnivore sinking pellets and some bloodworms, but the other fish in the tank seem to nibble at the pellets, so I’m not sure how much they’re actually eating since they’re still only active at night. I’ll probably try tilapia soon as well.

I’m picking up a 3 inch gold dust palmas bichir soon I was wondering if my lid would be fine it a normal glass lid with about a 3inch opening in the back. Also I would appreciate any advice on more decors I could add as-well as plants.
