Frustrating Experience - King Japanese Joinery Frame w/Headboard

I want to keep it as simple as I can, because once I finally get my order and find that I actually like the product, then I’d gladly delete this post.

I ordered a King Japanese Joinery Bed Frame w/Headboard end of April.
They tell me it would be shipped by early May, and arrive mid May.
I ask for an update early May.
They tell me that my order has been “successfully processed” and that I’ll receive a tracking number when it is shipped, and that it should arrive mid May.
It is now mid May.
I ask for an update.
They tell me that upon checking, I apparently “placed a pre-order”.
I did not place a pre-order.
I’m not dumb.
My order will now come end of May.

I didn’t like that Flexispot had listed items as “in-stock” when it is out of stock.
Why don’t you guys just list your items as something that you can pre-order, so that your customers have an accurate time frame and can actually plan when to order your products? Especially if they have projects that are time sensitive. It’s annoying af.

Idk, if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get a truthful answer as to why I don’t have my order yet, I’d appreciate it.
