I'm screwed

TL;DR I waited too long to book movers and now I'm totally f*cked

My posts don't usually get a lot of comments here and I don't know if it's the algorithm or what. I try not to let my RSD over take my thoughts on this 🥲

But I really need to know if people have ideas. I've seen a few posts about people missing their flights, train connections or forgetting to pick up their kids so I feel like this is a safe space?

I'm moving in 7 days. Most of the stuff is moved out already. Only big appliances are left. I procrastinated like crazy to book movers. In my mind I (always) have that magical thinking that even if I book anything last minute, it'll work out. I'm the same with time blindness: if I wake up just 30 minutes before leaving, I'll make it out the door on time. I NEVER do.

So finally I've called a couple movers and I can't find one so short notice. Now I'm in a full panic/shame spiral because the new tenant is coming in 1 week. These are really nice appliances that I own and I can't afford to just leave them on the curb "for free". The new tenant has already bought new appliances so I can't even try to bargain to sell mine to them.

I don't have strong friends or family with a truck who could help. I've looked at Task rabbit but their prices are crazy. I've browsed through FB community pages but I feel paralyzed to contact the companies recommended because I'm too ashamed.

I just need 2 guys with a truck for 2 hours. I feel like I just want to melt into the floor atp.
