Custom lehenga/dupes
Hi lovelies!
So I dont live in India (AU) but come visit my family in Karnataka almost every year. We are planning a small wedding in India in 2027 and I am trying to figure out what to do about my lehenga.
Though ny partner is Aussie, it will be an Indian style celebration. I want to be a red/scarlet bride.

It's a small, budget friendly wedding of 100 guests including family and close friends. I dont feel comfortable spending 5+lakh on an outfit for myself for the day. So I want to get one made or buy for cheap.
Do I plan a trip to Delhi or Hyderabad before the wedding to find a dupe? Any suggestions on tailors or custom spots where I can get this made?
How much time and how long before the celebration would you recommend I do this shopping trip?
What can a realistic budget be for a dupe plus jewellery? I understand there will be all sorts of budget places but I am looking for - good tailoring, customer service and quality material.
For the fabric experts, what fabric is best for a lehenga like this and what fabric to stay away from? My hometown is very humid and hot and I want to be comfortable. I work out and am fit so want the lehenga to be flattering and show some skin. So tailoring and fabric suggestions will be appreciated!
Mens options for sherwani that matches/ complements. My man is tall with broad shoulders, salt and pepper hair.
