Paid premium for Mitsubishi Electric AC, terrible experience. Need advice

It’s a long post and have used chatgpt to structure my thoughts (rant).

Bought a brand new Mitsubishi Electric 1.9 Ton 5 Star AC (MSY-GR22VF) from Vijay Sales in March 2026 and my experience has honestly been terrible so far. Need advice on what should be done next.

Timeline:

- Purchased from Vijay Sales Mehrauli-Gurgaon on 26 March 2026
- Delivered on 8 April
- Installed on 10 April by Mitsubishi (EON Enterprises technicians)

During installation itself I noticed dents on the outdoor unit. The technicians casually said this is “normal during delivery” and won’t affect anything.

Then came the bigger issue — vacuuming.

The installation guys initially refused to use a vacuum pump and kept insisting that “self vacuuming” for 2–3 minutes is enough and “nobody asks for proper vacuuming.” I had to argue repeatedly and tell them Mitsubishi SOP recommends proper vacuuming before commissioning. Only after a lot of discussion did they arrange a vacuum pump, and even then they vacuumed for barely around 5 minutes.

Within days, the outdoor unit started making a loud abnormal “helicopter-like” noise.

I registered a complaint on 18 April. Then the service experience became even worse:

Technician called on 19 April. I requested visit on 21 April because I wasn’t available on 19th/20th. Same day, complaint got cancelled without my consent saying: “Appointment More Than 7 Days From Call Registration Date”. I never asked for cancellation

On 21 April I again contacted Mitsubishi customer care, but they said their system was down and promised a callback. Nobody called back.

After waiting I filled a complaint on 25 April. Technician visited on 26 April and temporarily fixed the noise.

Now since last few days the same outdoor unit noise has returned again. I noticed that the noise is occurring only at high fan speeds.

What should I do at this point?

- Push for outdoor unit replacement?
- Escalate to Mitsubishi senior management?
- Anyone else faced similar issues with Mitsubishi Electric service in India?

Main concerns:

  1. Improper installation and possibly incomplete vacuuming
  2. Outdoor unit had dents from day 1
  3. Recurring outdoor unit noise
  4. Complaints getting cancelled without consent
  5. Poor customer support follow-up
  6. No confidence left in the Mitsubishi service partner (EON Enterprises)

Would really appreciate guidance from people.

Did Daikin/Croma mislead me about free AC wet service? Need advice

I am from Gurgaon and bought a Daikin 1.5 ton 3 star split AC from Croma in May last year.

The first free service has already been completed and it was a normal dry service. At the time of purchase, the Croma sales executive clearly told me that:
1st free service is dry service
2nd free service is wet service
Even the Daikin technician who came for the first service told me the same thing.

Today I called Daikin customer support to book the 2nd free service, but the support agent said that as per company policy, the 2nd free service is also only a dry service. He said wet service/jet cleaning is chargeable and would cost around ₹900.
Honestly, I feel misled because both the salesperson and technician told me something different earlier.

What should I do in this situation?
Has anyone else faced this with Daikin?
Is there any official policy mentioning what the free services include?
Would appreciate advice from people who have dealt with this before.
