Panasonic 2026 1.5 ton HONEST REVIEW

First off, installation took about 5-6 hours. We sold our old ac and the guy went with it and took multiple hours to come back. So that wasn't great.

From the first day there were PROBLEMS.

no cold air was coming. Thankfully the support people came fast. But they kept denying until they actually realised we were right. So they had to change a part.

NOW THE BIG DEAL. AGAIN IT STOPPED WORKING.

They came back, and THE WHOLE FAN OF THE ODU FELL OFF💀💀💀. He fixed it.

And now it cools...... Mediocre. Room doesn't get cool at all. Just ambient temperature in room. My ac on 28c beats this.

Idk what should I tell the support team.

Any tips?

Can anyone share honest review of SiteFame?

I’ve been managing a few social media accounts for clients recently and finding a service that actually consistent has been harder than expected.

I’ve tried a couple of different providers over the last few months. Some delivered quickly but the numbers dropped within days, while others were painfully slow or had a bad support team.

They keep coming up whenever I search Reddit or google, and I’ve seen some mixed opinions. Some people say it’s reliable while other mentions drops or inconsistent quality. That’s makes it hard to know what to believe.

If you’ve used them recently:

• How was the the delivery?
• Did the followers/views actually stick around?
• How responsive was their support if something went wrong?
• Would you use them again, or is there another secure you’d recommend instead.

Fixed Speed Non Inverter 1.5 Ton Daikin Model FTL50UV16V2 Initial Ownership Review

Bought A Fixed Speed Non Inverter 1.5 Ton Daikin Model FTL50UV16V2 on 13th July 2026 (Offline)

Total Cost :

1.5 Ton Diakin 38,800/-

130-280 4Kv Godrej Stabilizer 3500/-

Fright 250/-

32C Havels MCB 450/-

Installation 1200+100 Tip 1300/-

Total : 44,300/-

------------

Installation was done by two Daikin Representative(s)

As I was personally monitoring each step of Installation, it was done in a proper way including vacuuming, checking leaks etc.

The Representative confirmed if the installation was not proper and the gas leaks due to their fault, then they will have to pay from their own pocket.

The process took about 1-2 hours aprox. and the unit was well prepared for the journey to come.

The performance of the unit was quite acceptable until on 19th July (6 days after installation) I got a call from my parents for whom the unit was installed that the AC is not working and throwing out non-cooled air only

Aware of the fact that they are not well equated with usage of electronic gadgets I speculated that they must have pressed some odd button on the remote and asked a picture of the same.

The received picture cleared confirm status ON Mode Cooling 18C Fan Speed Auto so I booked a complaint with Daikin. The same Daikin representative(s) came to insect and found nothing wrong with the unit as it was working fine and cooling. I insisted on checking thoroughly, so they check gas back pressure and few other points and found nothing.

The same problem surfaced again after 2-3 days. This time the remote display was blank. Removing the batteries (Fresh Duracell pair) and installing them back solved the issue.

After working for 2 days the problem returned. AC on -> normal air ->remote no display but this time the batteries removal re-installation trick did not work. To get things going for the time being I instructed my parents to switch on the AC by pressing the button on the Indoor unit itself for 4 seconds, which worked.

Until the problem is resolved fully, I instructed them, not to use the remote and directly use the MCB switch for Switch on-off operation. To my surprise the remote display resorted in the morning.

Given the facts :

  1. This model does not have temperature display on the indoor unit, (only a green led to display the switch on state)

  2. No Backlight in the Remote.

I am in a fix. Is this a defective remote malfunction case or is it some Daikin Remote Standby Battery Save feature ?

Before Lodging a complaint I wanted to have your views.

Godrej 1.5 tonne window inverter ac

So my room ac packed up a few days ago. It was a 20 year old Fujitsu General unit. And I bought this Godrej 1.5 tonne window inverter ac unit.

Why inverter-
Honestly just wanted to see what the hype is about, and if at all it saves any energy or consumes more perhaps.

Why window-
Honestly I just like the serviceability better. Take it out, service wash and use. And in my experience, though these are less efficient, they tend to last longer. And I’m not fond of changing things unless absolutely essential. Add to that a split unit would’ve meant installing pipes in the wall and breaking the walls etc. this seemed like a more straightforward thing to do.

Why Godrej:
I went out to compare to what the offerings were.
And it came down to a few things
LG- haven’t heard very good things about their service, and seems to have PCB issues. Maybe it’s a function of how well their model has sold.
Mitsubishi- their offering only had three stars and in terms of equivalent warranty I would have had to spend more.
General- there was only a minuscule difference between non inverter and inverter models, and it was pricey. It was 9k more expensive to buy than the Godrej(33k). And for an additional 4 yr comprehensive warranty. I would have had to spend 9k more. Bringing the total to beyond 50k. The price differential was rather big.

The main reason why I ended up with Godrej is the 5 year comprehensive warranty which include gas, coil, PCB and the compressor. Apart from that it has vertical and horizontal swing which appealed to me.

Pros- it’s quiet, seems efficient and is feature packed.

Cons- air throw is not all that good, and the remote itself is rather big and the user manual is not all that clear. You will have issues understanding the various modes and how to use them.

Godrej installation is horrible, I’d wish I’d been home when they had installed it. They’ve use cardboard to cover off some sections, ideally should be gone with wood. I will have to get a carpenter to do it. The angle of the unit is supposed to be at half down bubble but it’s probably at 2 if I’m not mistaken.

This ofc is just a few days in, and this experience to follow will mostly be dependent on how godrej follows up with the warranty promises. To me it seems like I’ve made a fair choice. Time will tell if it was the right one.

Looking to buy 1.5 ton split Ac

Hey guys,
Looking to buy a 1.5 ton split inverter AC for my bedroom. Budget is around ₹50,000 (can stretch a tiny bit if it's really worth it or includes installation).
My main priority is energy efficiency and long-term reliability. I’m strictly looking at 4 or 5 star rated models since it’s going to run quite a bit daily and I want to keep the electricity bills in check. Also don't want something with frequent PCB issues or gas leaks a year down the line.
Currently confused between Daikin, and Panasonic.
If anyone bought an AC recently in this budget:
Which specific model would you recommend?
How's the real-world cooling and after-sales service?
Better to buy online (Amazon/Flipkart) or just pick it up from offline stores like Croma/Reliance Digital for better installation support?
Would appreciate any genuine feedback or models to avoid. Thanks!

Daikin 2.6 Ton FTKL90 Compressor and ODU Coils

Hello guys,
I purchased Daikin FTKL90 from Flipkart and it was delivered today. Since I was curious, I opened the outdoor lid and I found some interesting things.

It’s a 2026 make 3 star Made in India unit.

Has 2.5 rows of coils with significant missing pipes on 0.5 condenser coil. Overall net weight of outdoor unit is ~48 Kgs.

This is using a Daikin Compressor Industries LTD (Possibly Made in Thailand) compressor. I see it’s only marked at 3.8A which is significantly less and rated power consumption of this AC is rated at ~2500W.

I don’t understand the power consumption math and not sure how this underpowered (power wise) compressor will perform. I’ll post review after few days.

85 kg back sleeper: SleepyCat Hybrid Latex 6 inch or 8 inch? the ₹ difference is easy, the support difference isn’t

85 kg, mostly back sleeper and sometimes stomach. I hate that deep memory foam feeling where the hip keeps sinking and turning becomes an activity.

So SleepyCat Hybrid Latex looks like the sensible shortlist.

It is their properly firm model. One inch Pinhole Tech latex foam, one inch AirGen memory foam, then the high-density support layer.

The confusing part is 6 inch vs 8 inch.

From what I understand, the top two inches remain the same. The 8-inch version mainly gives two extra inches of support foam underneath.

So is that extra depth actually useful at 85 kg, or am I just paying for a taller mattress?

I don’t expect thicker to automatically mean softer or better. But I do care about the hip area softening, bottoming out and how it holds up if the mattress is used daily.

Also noticed SleepyCat’s own chart suggests 10 inches above 80 kg, but Hybrid Latex itself comes only in 6 and 8 inches. That needs a clearer answer honestly.

Bed base is solid plywood. I don’t sit on the edge for hours. Mainly sleeping use.

For an 85 kg back sleeper who wants firm and less sink, Hybrid still looks like a good fit. Just confused about thickness.

Please mention your weight and bed base while answering. “8 inch is better bro” is not enough 😭

[Honest-Review] Daikin 1.5 Ton 5 Star AC (ATKM50XV Premium) - Real Electricity Usage, Hidden Costs & Offline experience

Hey everyone! I recently bought a new Daikin AC and wanted to share a detailed breakdown of my experience, the hidden installation costs, and a real-world electricity consumption test. Hopefully, this helps anyone looking to buy an AC this season.

📋 **Quick Specs & Purchase Details**

Brand & Model: Daikin 1.5 Ton, 5 Star AC (ATKM50XV Premium Series)

Energy Rating: 5-Star (5.7 ISEER)

Purchased From: Reliance Digital (Offline store)

💸 **The Real Pricing Breakdown**

Listed Price: ₹52,999

Discounted Price (AC): ₹48,300

Base Installation: ₹1,400

Wall Mount Bracket: ₹100

Total Initial Bill: ₹49,800

🏬 **Why I Bought Offline (Reliance Digital Experience**)

The staff gave a great explanation of the product. More importantly, Reliance Digital sells the actual premium models. There is a noticeable difference in quality between these offline premium models and the stripped-down models sold online with drastic discounts. I highly recommend buying Daikin in physical stores so you don't compromise on the build.

🚚 **Delivery & Installation**

Speed: Delivered the next day after purchase.

Installation: Done the very next day after delivery by a 3-member Reliance ResQ team. They finished the whole job in just 1 hour!

🌟 **Pros & Standout Features**

Heavy Outdoor Unit (ODU): The ODU is noticeably larger and heavier than other 1.5-ton ACs in the market right now. This is a massive advantage for heat dissipation, cooling performance, and overall durability.

**Cooling & Comfort**: Features like Dew Clean, Coanda Airflow, and Good Sleep mode are fantastic. The Power Chill mode gives immediate, rapid cooling.

Super Quiet: Daikin is known for less noise, but setting the fan to the "Tree/Moon" mode makes it whisper quiet for sleeping.

Thermostat Range: Temperature can be set anywhere between 18°C and 31°C.

⚡ **Real-World Electricity Consumption Test**

I tested the power draw overnight to see if the 5.7 ISEER rating holds up.

Set temp to 26°C at 9:30 PM (Fan on 'Tree' mode).

Initial EB meter reading: 3187.4 kWh

Woke up at 6:30 AM (9 hours later).

Final EB meter reading: 3189.5 kWh

Total Consumption: Just 2.1 Units for the whole night! 🤯

(Note: My Samsung fridge was running all night too, and I didn't even use the ceiling fan). That efficiency is incredible.

⚠️ **Cons & Hidden Installation Costs (Be Prepared!)**

While the AC is great, the installation costs add up quickly. Unlike other brands, Daikin cuts corners on included accessories:

No Power Cable: They do NOT provide a 3-core cable in the box. You have to buy it from the technicians at ₹130 per meter.

Consumables Add Up: Consumable materials like wrapping tape, drain hose pipe, ODU bushes, etc., cost me an extra ₹2,800.

Stabilizer Install Fee: The technicians charge an extra ₹200 just to mount the stabilizer on the wall.

💡 **My Pro-Tip for Protection**

Daikin claims this AC operates safely between 130Hz/V to 285Hz/V (stabilizer-free operation). However, I strongly advise buying a Double Booster Stabilizer to protect your investment. I personally bought a Premier brand 150V-290V double booster for ₹3,500 from Mercy Electronics.

# ⭐ Final Verdict

**Personal Rating: 9/10**

**Despite the annoying hidden installation costs, the fast cooling, silent operation, heavy-duty ODU, and top-tier power efficiency make it absolutely worth it. Overall, I am highly satisfied! Let me know if you guys have any questions.**

Edit-1: EB test is done in Econo mode.

Edit-2 Please ask Installation person to do vacumming before releasing of coolant refrigerant for better cooling efficiency. Usually they will not do.

ORIENT ELECTRIC FANS

I used aeroslim and aeroquiet for years and if i say old ones are very sturdy the aeroquiet ones. I recently purchased aeroslim and for 14000 rupees these are hell expensive and not worth it. You can try aeroquiet series i like them. Plus installation guys are very poor.

I think I got overcharged for my AC installation (SCAM maybe)

Hey everyone, I don't really know how to put this, but something about this installation experience feels very sketchy.

I ordered an AC from Amazon, which included an installation service. I got a call from the installation team, and the technicians visited.

They used 16 feet of extra copper pipe and also provided a stand and some wire.

Here's where things got weird:

They initially quoted me ₹9,616, including ₹1,350 per foot for the copper + wire. I tried negotiating, but they said that if I didn't want a bill, they could do it for ₹8,000.

I agreed and paid ₹8,000.

However, I insisted that I wanted a bill for the ₹8,000. They then said that if I wanted the bill, I'd have to pay the full amount of ₹9,616. I don't understand why a bill would change the price, but I ended up paying the additional amount.

I now have screenshots of both the UPI payments and the bill they provided.

Can anyone guide me on where I can verify whether these charges are legitimate, and where I can register a complaint if this is actually overcharging or some kind of billing issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

AC for Kitchen- Hitachi Sumo or Daikin FTKM53xv/MTKM50Xv?

Hi, I know it’s another ac post but I’m looking to get a 1.5 ton, preferably 5 star AC but 3 star would also be fine, for our Kitchen. I need something that’s going to work in the heat and humidity of the Kitchen. Ofc won’t be using the AC while cooking or frying on the stove.

Which one would work better? I have a budget of 45-50k.

Also, if someone has an AC in their kitchen, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is the Daikin ATKM50UV16VA worth ₹52,000, or should I return it?

Hi everyone,
I recently ordered a Daikin 1.5 Ton 5 Star Inverter Split AC – ATKM50UV16VA for around ₹52,000.

Some details:

1.5 Ton, 5 Star
ISEER: 5.20
Copper condenser
PM 2.5 / Apataito filter
Dew Clean Technology
Triple Display
10-year compressor warranty
5-year PCB warranty
Model: ATKM50UV16VA
Amazon listing says “Old star rated with deodorizing filter (PM 1.0)”
The energy label shown says the label period is 1 July 2022 – 31 Dec 2025

I’m a little confused because ₹52k seems quite expensive, and this appears to be an older star-rating model.

For people who have used this model or know Daikin ACs:
Is ₹52k a reasonable price for this model?

Is there any significant disadvantage to buying the older star-rated version?

Would you return it and buy a newer model/another brand instead?

At this price, are there better Daikin/LG/Panasonic models available?
The AC hasn’t been opened/installed yet, so I still have the option to return it.

Would appreciate your honest opinions, especially from people who own this model.

Comparing 5-star ACs by ISEER and price

I was looking for a 5-star AC and realised that the star rating alone doesn't tell you much. There can be a pretty big efficiency difference even between two 5-star ACs.

So I compared some of the highest-ISEER ACs I could find, along with their current prices.

1. Daikin FTKF50XV

  • ISEER: 6.30
  • 1.5 Ton
  • Price: ~₹66,900 MRP (dealer price can vary)
  • 2026 BEE 5-Star

This has the highest ISEER I've found among the mainstream models I looked at. The efficiency is impressive, although it's clearly at the premium end. I also couldn't find this particular model on Amazon.

2. Optimist 1.39 Ton

  • ISEER: 6.05
  • Price: ₹35,990 on Amazon currently
  • 5-Star
  • 5-year comprehensive warranty
  • Wi-Fi + energy monitoring + gas-level indicator

The ISEER is quite close to the Daikin above, while the price is considerably lower. It's also readily available online, which makes it an interesting one to compare alongside the more established brands.

The main thing I'm unsure about is the longer-term ownership experience, since it's a relatively new brand.

3. Panasonic VU Series

  • ISEER: 5.85
  • 1.5 Ton
  • Price: roughly ₹50-56k
  • 5-Star
  • Wi-Fi / smart features

Good efficiency from an established brand, although the price is considerably higher than some of the other options here.

4. Blue Star Q Series

  • ISEER: 5.85
  • 1.5 Ton
  • Price: ₹43,960
  • 5-Star
  • Wi-Fi

Another 5-star option with a strong ISEER figure, but again at a noticeably higher price.

So my takeaway would be...

Highest ISEER in this comparison: Daikin at 6.30
Lowest price among these: Optimist
Other alternatives: Panasonic / Blue Star 5.85

Anyway, this is why I started looking at ISEER instead of just the star rating. It gives you a better idea of how the models actually compare on efficiency.

I've seen quite a few discussions here about Daikin, Panasonic and Blue Star, so I'm curious about the Optimist mainly because there seems to be less long-term user feedback on it.

Has anyone here actually used one? I'd be interested in hearing how the electricity consumption has been in regular use.

Do all made in India o'General models come with a GMCC compressors ? Help me identify which compressor this model has.

This is my General ASGG24CETB-B the indoor is Thailand made but the Outdoor is India made. Since a lot of ACs from Mitsubishi and General are coming with GMCC compressors especially Indian made models. Is it true for the CET series as well ? Because I thought that only the entry level fixed speed models come with GMCC compressors.

Please let me know which exact compressor this model uses if anyone knows.

Also share which AC model you guys have !

What background data is my Atomberg fan accumulating?

I was going through my monthly internet usage report where this thing popped up. I am surprised to see that my Atomberg fans (I have 2) are using background data to the tune of 2GB even though I am not using the Atomberg app since many months. Looks like data privacy has gone for a toss.

Video door bell/ Smart lock- Godrej or Qubo

We are in the midst of renovating our house and I’m intrigued by the VDB and Smart locks. Especially the feature- of being able to receive a call on the mobile when guests ring the bell and Smart Lock integration allowing to unlock the door or generate a passcode for guests.

However the reviews of the VDB are mixed making it seem unreliable. I’m also going to be placing a CCTV camera outside.

Please advise if I should get both VDB and Smartlock or should I just get the smart lock and use my cctv cam to see who is outside.

Also kindly suggest any models for both VDB and smart lock which have worked for you in the long run
