Hello guys,
I purchased Daikin FTKL90 from Flipkart and it was delivered today. Since I was curious, I opened the outdoor lid and I found some interesting things.

It’s a 2026 make 3 star Made in India unit.

Has 2.5 rows of coils with significant missing pipes on 0.5 condenser coil. Overall net weight of outdoor unit is ~48 Kgs.

This is using a Daikin Compressor Industries LTD (Possibly Made in Thailand) compressor. I see it’s only marked at 3.8A which is significantly less and rated power consumption of this AC is rated at ~2500W.

I don’t understand the power consumption math and not sure how this underpowered (power wise) compressor will perform. I’ll post review after few days.

Move to iOS transfer method overrode file metadata

I just recently switched from Android to new iPhone 17 pro max and I used “Move to iOS” app on android to transfer data into the new iPhone. I just transferred 100GB of photos and videos but the dates on all photos are overridden to transferred date and also location data. I can’t express my anger.
Luckily I didn’t delete data on my original android phone yet.

This is a major blunder from Apple (Software) to override the metadata of the pictures which are transferred. What can I do?

Horizontal band on the new iPhone 17 Pro Max

I got my phone few days back and I was just running some test videos from YouTube at 30-40% brightness and I see horizontal bands on both sides of the notch at Greyscale 95%. I haven't seen anything like this before.

I haven't spotted it in the real world use but if I try, it is visible sometimes in Safari and Chrome app which usually use grey padding on top and bottom in dark mode.

This is using Samsung G9P screen which I confirmed using Analytics data.

Is this normal?

Bruh Moment for iPhones in Flipkart GOAT Sale

After handling and processing fee effective discount for the iPhone 17 pro max series would for 1.35L with ICICI Bank Credit Card.

iPhone 17 pro max was already available for 1.38L (256 gb variant) or lower after the discounts in the later half of June. Effective difference is only 3k for the sale.

A lot of people which change their decision due to this.
