Card Help?

So I was wondering...and this is coming from an AM of Kids and Baby, how does one get better at card on the salesfloor. Every store is different so I know it depends...our customers are usually stay-at-home suburban moms and their husbands control their credit decisions/choices and hardly ever bite the bullet. Usually when I make connections on the floor for example during supercash I'll let them know about supercash and remind them to use it when they get the register and I'll add in "idk if you have the card but just letting you know if you want to try and apply its gonna be 65% everything in the store for you" and they are like "okay leave me alone type look" and if they dont have any that leaves open the opportunity for me or my cashiers to jump on it about card, "oh well if you spend over $50 its gonna be about 65% everything you purchase today, no annual fee, 20% first purchase at sister brands, free alt at banana. But they dont want it my store needs help 😭 . I know its about developing the associates to be knowledgable and confident when it comes to card but it seriously feels like our customer is just resilient...very many regulars as well...that already have the card...AND use it....! I usually hand out bags strike up convo then hand flyer and talk about promotions then go into card so its not awkward....
