Before I begin I apologize as this is technically not tonsil stone related just wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge on this matter.

Hello, thank you for your time. I noticed a couple days ago that a part of my tonsil has turned bright deep red but not the entire tonsil. There is no pain or trouble swallowing but I definitely notice it's there (the left tonsil). My left tonsil the one in the picture is slightly larger than my right but I hear that's normal. Anyway my question is if anyone happens to know why tonsil may be deeper red as seen in the picture of if this is concerning and warrants a doctor visit.
