$4000 for mitigation?
Single point in older home, with rocky, clay soil, 6 hour job... quoting $4000. It sounds high compared to what I've seen here. Any suggestions for what I should be looking for, asking regarding this price?
Edited to add details: Slab foundation. No basement. Described as making a hole in the closet through slab, removing dirt to create a hole, installing vents and fan out through roof - single story house. Location is Alabama.
