Has a perfume ever changed your entire taste in fragrance?
I bought PDM Athenais several weeks ago and have been wearing it every day since. I absolutely adore it from start to finish! The opening is so bright and sparkly and the drydown is soft and cozy. Actually I'm surprised I like it so much - PDM fragrances generally don't work for me at all. Anyway, the weird thing is that ever since I started wearing it, my old favorites don't hit they way they used to, and I now like some fragrances that used to do absolutely nothing for me. What is happenninng lol! It feels like Athenais broke my nose, or recalibrated it? Has anyone else had this happen after falling in love with a new fragrance? I'm curious to hear similar experiences and any possible explanations from people who know more about fragrance than I do!
