I am a malayali working as an assistant professor in a private University at Bangalore. I have been in the CF-India telegram for sometime now. But not that active.
I am childfree, partly because I’m not sure I’d make a good parent, and partly because I live with bipolar disorder. Parenting feels especially demanding in the current world.
Personality-wise, I am somewhat shy, and my confidence tends to fluctuate depending on the situation. I am not much of a movie person, but I do have a lot of niche interests. Musically, I enjoy Qawwali, Punjabi folk, Rajasthani folk, and related genres. Yeah also Fairuz and Freddie Mercury. It keeps evolving and expanding.
I love traveling, especially across West Asia. Some of my favorite places I’ve visited are Isfahan in Iran and Nazareth in Palestine. I’m deeply drawn to old cities, historic neighborhoods, traditional bazaars, and markets with a sense of history and continuity.
Philosophically, I am somewhere on the agnostic-to-atheist spectrum, though I am open to dating someone religious as long as there is mutual respect and compatibility.
Mainly looking for a long-term relationship with someone thoughtful, emotionally mature, and kind. DM is open.
