Used Polestar 2 2023 vs used EV6 2022/2023
Hi all
As title describes, I'm currently looking for opinions on choosing between the 2 above. My options currently are a 2023 LRSM Polestar 2 with ~30k miles on the clock vs a 2023 EV6 with 18k miles on the clock.
Currently driving a very beat up A3 which has done 120k miles and is starting to show signs of expensive repairs being due.
I very much like the look of both of them for different reasons. Price wise they're both equivocal. So I'm looking for real world experiences. I drive ~55 miles per day for a commute to work on a mix of country and dual carriageway A roads. There are intermittent 180-200mile each way road trips that may occur every couple of months to visit family.
I am due a test drive on both of them in the coming week.
The projected range on the Polestar 2 is 409 miles and the EV6 is 328 miles. Obviously these will not be true ranges but I'm wondering how people have fared with the 2? I've looked up similar posts on the subreddit and it seems to be a mix of opinions preferring one or the other with no clear cut answer.
I also have a labrador which will be expected to be in the boot of the car intermittently (he currently squishes into the back of an A3).
From what I've read, Polestar 2's seem to be a bit polarising in their reviews, with some people saying they are amazing and wonderful, to others saying they couldn't wait to give theirs back at the earliest point possible.
Going to be taking an unsecured loan to finance most of the cost of these as I'm getting 6.9% APR from the bank as opposed to 8.9-12.9 % with a PCP/HP scheme so I'd like to get it right first time!.
