Advice on CSCI Jr Year courseload and internship szn

Hey guys, since I'll be a CS jr next year, I'm prioritizing the recruiting season, my board positions for my two clubs, and possibly making a project in a student club (either Social Coding, App Developers Club, Google Developer Group, or even STRIVE medical).

My gpa is pretty high enough to the point where I can slack off this semester and I wish I didn't prioritize it as much as I did this year because a lot of time could've gone towards getting an internship and working on projects. I learned this year that a lot of what has helped me grow was my experiences outside the classroom.

I just want some advice on how people balanced the recruiting season this past year. The weak point on my resume is my projects/work experience, but I'm currently building a project this summer that I'm really interested in and hope can look decent enough. Worst case scenario I just plan on joining one of the groups I listed above and hope I can get some project experience. I was also thinking of adding some class projects from CSCI 2021, 2041, and maybe 1933. If anyone has done that please let me know if it helped. Accordingly, I made my course load just 12 credits this coming semester, if anyone has advice for these course workloads or just jr year in general please let me know!
