I was about to pull a trigger on R5C and then R6V comes. I am torn on which to go with because i feel like R5C is a true workhorse and offers amazing video quality. I need a video camera but having a superiors stills camera would be nice if needed as back to my Canon R8. The R6V is Video focused and is cheaper new, but I am curious if R5C owners would consider switching to R6V for video specific use case?
I have had my S9 since August 2025, bought it in Japan. Primary use was hobby level videography, wanted something compact, with great features. But my stills camera is Canon and it’s all RF lenses so I have a lot invested in Canon. Looking to go to a C50 for video. Was curious what would be a fair price for a set up like mine.
