P0171 and P0174 lean codes
2006 Jeep TJ, im getting two lean codes. I smoked the system looking for vacuum leaks, i discovered a small leak around the IAC valve, a part i recently did as a maintanence item when cleaning my throttle body. I applied some ultra black RTV to the mating surface, no more leaks. Still throwing the lean codes. I put the old (known good IAC valve back on just to rule it out. I still have to test drive it and see if it worked. I suspect it will pop up again, but who knows.
No other vacuum leaks that i can find with the smoke machine. I have not smoked the exhaust yet either. Perhaps the manifolds are leaking before the O2 sensors, but i don't hear any ticking or anything that would lead me to that assumption.
My fuel pump is about 2 years old, i recently did injectors and a computer on the jeep. I don't suspect either of those. I don't have a code reader that does live data. I can only pull codes and look at freeze frame data when the codes appear. MAP sensor was 25hg, Long term fuel trims are around 30-31%.
Just throwing out some info incase anyone has any good insights or obvious things to check. I appreciate it
