Could somebody please explain the causes, scale and future prospects of the UAE-Iran rivalry today, preferably with some historical background?

How does it compare with the rivalry between Iran and Saudi Arabia?
Is there one party - the UAE or the Iran - who might be more 'at fault' than the other in your view?
To what extent have the UAE's relations with Israel deteriorated relations? Is the Israeli-UAE relationship cause, consequence or both?
