Should I ask for a partial refund?
Bought a Coach bag listed as “good condition,” and the seller stated, “See pictures for condition, as there are some stains and marks, but overall in good shape” (the last two pictures are from the seller’s listing). The seller did show obvious wear on the outside, but not the inside. She didn’t disclose the massive staining, gum residue, or hole.
I would like to keep the bag, as it is still fully functional, and I already started cleaning it before I realized how bad it actually was. I bought this bag for way more than it’s worth and was expecting to give it a minimal wipe-down, not a full-on restoration.
Am I justified in asking for a partial refund? I’ve been a seller for a while and would never fail to disclose a bag’s condition.
