Say hi to Pepe

1999 jlx 1.3i manual, with 46k km, owned until last month by my uncle that gave it to me. Made a 1300km summer trip in 4 days, really happy with it ☺️

Doing some testing

Recently bought this bike, decided to install a tt like handlebar and arm rest, like the chrono bike in the 70/80s…
I decided to do this setup because a rarely use the drop on road bikes, so i thought it would be more comfortable and useful to have a bullhorn handlebar, so I can reach the levers more easily.
I can say that I feel really good with this setup, on straight I gained a lot of speed and comfort, on hills I have better grip and a nicer feeling.
What are your thoughts about this? I know it’s not an UCI approved configuration…

Hello everyone, today i bought this bike, gave 50€ for it and some accessories (helmet, shoes, spare saddle, spare inner tubes and a basic computer that i removed), too much? It’s worth it? I like cycling but I don’t really know much about road bikes. Never seen this brand, the bike is quite light so i think it’s alloy frame? Tomorrow I will try with a magnet maybe…

It’s a good deal or could I have made a better choice?
