Which universities should I target for MS AI/ML 2027 but 6.02 CGPA, IISc research, IEEE papers, full loan

Hey everyone, need genuine advice on my MS abroad plans for Fall 2027. Full profile below:

About Me:

  • B.Tech CS (Data Science), private university Bengaluru, 2021–2025, CGPA: 6.02
  • Currently working as ML Project Assistant at IISc Bengaluru under a Professor with PhD from EPFL Switzerland and Postdoc at Harvard, 95+ publications, 36 patents
  • Work involves ML applications in medical devices and clinical data pipelines
  • Publishing 2-3 IEEE conference papers in ML + medical devices in next 4-5 months
  • Strong LOR confirmed from my supervisor
  • Age 22 at time of application

Financial Situation:

  • Full education loan, no family funding

Universities I'm considering:

  1. Georgia Tech — MS CS or MS Analytics (dream because of my low CGPA)
  2. TUM Munich — MSc Informatics (dream)
  3. NUS Singapore — MComp AI (total cost is ₹55-60L which is high)

My specific questions:

  1. Should I apply for MS considering all the global tensions and job market?
  2. Will I get the ROI of me spending this much?
  3. Does spending so much amount make sense in this economy?

PS: My family is ready to sell land to fund my MS education but I am hesitant because I want to take a loan and be responsible so that I do not fool around.

My CGPA is low because I had no plans of doing 9-5 and was delusional about starting a business and escaping the rat race, but something changed in the final year and I started taking it seriously but it was too late. Got another chance to prove myself at IISc so working hard to publish some good quality papers.

Need help from people to help a grad make the right decisions.
