Intel + Nvidea vs AMD

What do you guys think about this? Does Alienware worth the price difference? I realize that I never upgrade my setups, so the proprietary stuff doesn't bother me at all...

My last setup has 5 years, so I will probably stick with any of those for another 5 years.

30% price difference is considerable, but diluted in 5 years lifespan, not a lot...

Alienware Aurora Gaming PC: Ultra 9 285K, RTX 5080, 32GB, 2TB - $2,400

I understand that maybe Dell isn't the best gamming PC, but this sound like a very good deal! It's even cheaper than buying the parts and building yourself (which I love to do, but I am trying to save some money).

What do you guys think? Is it a good deal, or maybe not so much? Should I build something instead?

That's from Micro Center

Thank you!

I've been researching about corne keyboard, specially wireless and low profile, but I realize that building one is expensive (upper hundreds of dollars), and buying one ready is even more expensive... I wonder if you guys have any advice on how to make it cheaper. At this stage I just want to try it and see if I adapt, once I decided that this is for me then I would consider the investment.

I tried to find something on AliExpress, but oh boy, that's exhausting, so many options and so many questions. Anyways, I hope I can get help from your experience. What do you suggest me? Thanks!

I am not afraid to soldiering stuff by myself, and again, I don't care for looks right now (not even wires at this stage)
