Hey, so how many classes per semester are usually recommended? I need at least all C’s in my classes so the minimum passing will work- I could try for C+\B , but won’t be needed (it’s more of first come first serve, then a high gpa), I am planning on working 2 days a week. For the second and third semester, since I won’t be a new student at Douglas, and having all C’s will definitely affect my registration ticket? Am I most likely going to get the last week of registration/ most classes will be taken?
Hey, if anyone could share opinions would definitely help me out! I am deciding on RN or RDH. The only two factors that are holding me back are as for an RDH, I heard it’s really hard on your body such as hands, neck, back, etc and I want a career where I could do my whole life aka until pension! But for RN, I am not the best at seeing people hurt or in pain, so I would definitely not enjoy my daily job, but just won’t face many problems physically.

Hey! So if I’m taking prerequisites I just apply to the general studies I hope that’s the correct pathway! As I am just taking my prerequisites nothing specific. Along for second semester is there any way to get earlier registration dates! Also, if I can get confirmed, that new students applying first semester automatically get the earlier intake, and then for other semesters what do they look at to give you a registration date? You don’t need to apply again, you just use the same Douglas id you were given first semester, and once your registration date open you just apply? How far apart are the registration dates given, are they divided into weeks? How fast do the science/popular(bio,chem)classes get full? How close to the semester do I pay for my fees?
Hey! If anybody could help me out, will appreciate a lot! I will be taking my prerequisites for the first time at Douglas, but don’t know what to except😭. Is parking free at Douglas? Are you allowed to pick your own seats? I know this would be different depending on the class/professor, but in general Is homework given daily, and are assignment dates manageable/much time given to complete! For any particular emergencies is being late to class accepted? Are you allowed to miss classes if you’re sick/valid reasons? Where do you usually see your marks, do professors use a specific platform? How fast do stuff get marked? How can I find my classes? Do I just have to ask my way around?

Hi! I’m planning on taking 5 classes a semester(with 2 labs), does that seem manageable? My schedule would look like, having classes 4 days full time, having the afternoon to study, 1 day to study as well/relax😊, and work 2 days? I feel like I’m going to put a lot of pressure on me just so I could get with these classes faster😭. Also, thinking of how I do not need a high GPA! At least C’s/B’s would work! How much work would you usually get from first year classes like (Bio, Chem, English, math and psychology)(bio and chem labs) in for a week? Is most work done in person, or can quizzes/tests be done online on your own time after classes end and are due at a certain time!

Hi! I am applying for fall 2027 for my prerequisites, if someone could verify that I apply for the “general studies”? I will send my transcript this October for a conditional acceptance, and send my final transcript by the end of February! It will be my first time applying, do you think I will still be early for registration for fall 2027, and will get an early time slot to register for classes, as my classes are very demanding! Do new students get time slots earlier than students who are already part of Douglas?
