Just finished chapter twenty one of Deadhouse Gates

I just finished chapter twenty one of Deadhouse Gates and I'm emotionally devastated.

First time reader, I started Gardens of the Moon in June and greatly enjoyed it.

After finishing it I went straight to Deadhouse Gates, but was not prepared for the roller-coaster of emotions that came with it especially the last two chapters I read. I've been bowling my eyes reading about Coltaine and the Chain of Dogs. That last part of the march was truly gut wrenching and I kept hoping for a miracle even though I knew it could not happen and it was already incredible that the refugees made it to Aren.

I'm still reeling from what I just read and trying to process it. Sorry if I'm not making any sense, just wanted to share with the community my impressions.

Amazing book and I can't wait to go on reading and see what happens next.
