Conditioning to help with hip key form?

I’ve been taking silks classes for a few years now! Only have money and time to go once a week right now but want to keep up my skills as much as possible with outside conditioning. My hip keys are uuugly, and cueing from my instructor hasn’t done much. I think it’s a strength/flexibility issue and not an understanding issue. Any advice for exercises or stretches that might help?
