guys im lowkey scared
apparently the black man who beheaded the man in belfast is somali. i lowkey don’t believe it he doesn’t look somali from the photos but at the same time there was another somali attacker a few weeks ago so probably. why are we being pushed so hard to be hated in mainstream news??? and what is wrong with these specific violent somali men? i hate how we all have to suffer for the action of a few. a lot of older somali men are hard workers who care for their family. anyway i live in the uk and im genuinely scared of cadaans becoming physical and hate criming anyone who looks somali and then recording it online for everyone to see. i get scared being in the vicinity of a white person ugh idk how to let go of this fear. and dont say “this stuff is only online” no, its happening irl too. multiple of my friends and even my friends mother have been dealing with an increase of racist/islamophobic attacks just bc they’re visibly muslim. one white guy literally poured alcohol on her head on the bus. mind u we are in LONDON. i’ll try to be vigilant and wary i guess…
