Pixel 8 pro
I just recently acquired a pixel 8 pro after my pixel 9 pro XL met with a mower blade. The 8 pro is a refurb unit and wasn't used before me buying it. I've had it since Fri 5/15/26 and it had android 14 and I completely updated the play services and to android 16. Now here comes the issues that I didn't have on the other.
My apps and UI constantly stop responding or force close. When opening apps 98% of the time they force close upon opening and I have to reopen them for them to load. It also has had some random restarts. I have to go into apps most times before it'll tell me I have messages or notifications. I set my work alarms last night 5/17 and I had the upcoming alarm notifications but alarms never went off to wake me up.
Has anyone had these same issues and what was the solution to them? It's making the phone borderline unusable and as a truck driver for work I can't have these issues.
