Offering: Korean / Seeking: English

Hi, I'm 35M living in Seoul.

안녕, 나는 서울에 사는 35살 남자야.

I really want to improve my English skill and make a friend from US.

나는 정말 내 영어실력을 늘리고, 미국인 친구를 사귀고 싶어.

if you are interested, I will do conversations like this way, I mean I will use two language at the same time: Eng and Kor both to make you learn Kor more easily.

만약 너가 관심있다면, 나는 대화를 이런식으로 할거야. 무슨 말이냐면, 두 언어(영어와 한국어)를 동시에 말할거야. 너가 한국어를 배우기 더 쉽게 하기 위해.

I didnt use translator for writing this content to show you my present English level...:)

나는 이 글을 쓸 때 번역기를 사용하지 않았어. 현재 내 영어실력을 너에게 보여주기위해..ㅋㅋ

Is there anyone interested in K-culture and Korean language?

Hey everyone,

I’m a 32M native Korean currently living in Seoul.

By day, I work as a personal trainer, and by night (and weekends), I’m an indie hacker.

Lately, I’ve been getting more international clients at the gym, which made me realize I really need to level up my English. On top of that, I’m preparing to launch a global service with the US as my primary target market.

The thing is… I’ve never actually been to the US. Everything I know about American culture comes from what I’ve seen online, and my English conversation skills are still pretty basic.

So, I’m looking for an American friend (ideally living in Seoul, or open to hanging out online/offline) who:

Is interested in Korean culture and learning Korean.

And would love to hear my ideas and give me a US local's perspective on a service I'm building to bridge the US and Korean markets. (No pressure at all! I'm just looking for some casual feedback and advice from someone who knows the US culture. I already have a few cool ideas we could chat about, including a K-beauty business project!)

What I can offer in return:

Help you master the Korean language and understand the local culture.

1:1 Personal Training sessions (For free, just as a friendly exchange if you want to get in shape or crush your fitness goals!).

A great local friend to grab a coffee or a drink with while we talk about culture, and life.

My main areas are Gwanak and Seocho (specifically between Sillim Station and Gangnam Station on Subway Line 2).

If this sounds like you, or if you just want to grab a coffee and chat, please feel free to DM me or leave a comment! Let’s connect. :)
