19y Summerjob 11k-15k how would you split the money?

(The text is translated from Finnish to English)

Hey!

So, I'm a 19-year-old guy from Finland who's currently in a relatively well-paying summer job, where I'm set to earn around 11–15k euros from May to August. I'd like to come up with a smart savings plan for this money, but I'm not really sure what the best way to split it up would be.

My initial idea is something like this:

- I'd open a buffer account with some easily accessible cash for unexpected expenses. (Feel free to give tips on whether to just keep a reachable buffer in my own bank or how to handle that.)

- I already have mutual funds with Seligson, and the plan is to put money there for long-term saving and investing.

- I'm also wondering if I should open another fund or investment account like Nordnet for diversification, or if that's pointless at this stage.

- Additionally, I'd like some shorter-term savings that I could use next year, like during my time in the army or for other expenses without touching long-term investments.

The goal isn't just to save all the money. I also want to enjoy this summer, do fun stuff, and possibly take a couple of trips in the fall if the budget allows.

How would you split the money in this situation? What's a good percentage for savings/investments and how much for "living"? And what would you do at 19 in this situation?

Feel free to ask for more info if it helps!☝️
