Boss lenient with others only
I have many bosses but the main one always has smart remarks. I’m at the front desk as an admin assistant and in the beginning her issue was that I was away from my desk too much and as if I’m a child demanded I put sticky notes on my computer so she knows where I am. Then I went from going to lunch for 45 minutes to one hour since everyone takes the hour and I was verbally told 45 minutes but up to an hour if anything. When I mentioned this I was simply told I need to worry about myself. now everyone works from home once a day out of the week. I asked for one day as well since I’m also doing dispatch with no promotion only a $2 raise and was told dispatch is more part time so I need to be at the office. So I requested to switch my schedule by 30 minutes (because many people do it here and it’s the least they could do) which another boss approved but when I told her the reply was “oh…. we will see.” she even asked what would I be doing now that I come 30 minutes earlier which to me obviously would be same thing as before just 30 minutes earlier…… I just feel like she has it out for me for no reason. They do tend to give the most random promotions but people like me who train and show more potential don’t get a promotion and those are the one who end up leaving. I haven’t left because unfortunately I haven’t found anything close by and for the same pay. Has this happened to anyone else? Just ranting and looking for advice or experiences.
